Connect Magento 2

Magento 2 is optional. If you sell through Magento, Voorcast reads its products and orders alongside Picqer. Connect Picqer first: Magento data syncs together with Picqer, so Magento on its own isn't enough to get started. You need an access token and your store's address.

1. Create an integration in Magento

1. In Magento Admin, open System → Extensions → Integrations.

2. Click Add New Integration and name it "Voorcast".
3. Under API, give it access to:
   • Catalog
   • Sales
   • Customers
   • Stores → Taxes → Tax Rules. This lets Voorcast read your VAT rates for its price figures. Without it the sync still runs, but those rates aren't updated.

4. Click Save, then Activate next to the new integration, and confirm with Allow.
5. Copy the Access Token from the list Magento shows.

2. Enter it in Voorcast

1. In Voorcast, open Settings and choose Integrations under Data & Integrations.
2. On the Magento 2 card, click Configure.
3. In API Base URL, enter your store's address, for example https://your-store.com.
4. Paste the token into API Access Token.
5. Leave Store Code empty unless you use a store view other than the default.
6. Set Timestamp Timezone to the timezone your Magento server uses.
7. Click Test Connection, then Save Configuration.

What Voorcast does with it

• Reads your products, orders, customer groups and tax rules.
• Writes product prices and status (enabled or disabled) when you change them in Voorcast.

Good to know

• Magento has no live updates, so its data catches up at the next sync.
• Only admins and owners can connect or change an integration.
• To change the address, enter the token again as well.
