Inviting your team

What it is

Your Voorcast organisation can have as many colleagues as you like, each with their own login. Everyone sees the same products, drafts and figures. What differs is what they can change, which depends on their role:

  • Owner: the person who created the organisation. The owner can do everything an admin can, and is the only one who can manage billing or delete data.
  • Admin: can connect Picqer and Magento, change settings, and invite and manage the team.
  • Member: works with drafts, purchase orders and products day to day, but cannot change integrations, settings or the team.

When you'd use it

  • Someone else places your orders, or shares the work with you.
  • A colleague receives the stock and wants to see what's coming.
  • You want someone to look over the figures without changing your setup.

How to set it up

  1. Open Settings and choose Team under Organization.
  2. Click Invite Member.
  3. Enter their Email Address and choose a Role: Member or Admin.
  4. Click Send Invitation.

They get an email with an Accept Invitation button. If they don't have a Voorcast account yet, they choose a name and password and are straight in. If they already have one, they're added to your organisation and can sign in as usual.

Good to know

  • Only admins and the owner can invite people or change roles.
  • An invitation is valid for 7 days. Until it's accepted it's listed under Pending Invitations, where you can Resend Invitation (which also gives it a fresh 7 days) or Cancel Invitation.
  • To change someone's role or remove them, open the menu on their row under Members. Removing someone takes away their access straight away.
  • The owner's role can't be changed from the team page.
